Delhi High Court Restores Arbitral Award in DMRC’s Favour Passed by Employee-Arbitrator - (01 Oct 2026)

ARBITRATION

Delhi High Court restored a Rs. 40 lakh-plus arbitral award in DMRC’s favour, holding that the appointment of its serving officer as sole arbitrator, made before the 2015 Arbitration Act amendments, could not be invalidated by applying the later statutory ineligibility rules retrospectively.
