Delhi HC: Stridhan Recovery Alone Cannot Justify Custodial Interrogation - (29 Sep 2026)

CRIMINAL

Delhi High Court held that custodial interrogation cannot be sought merely to recover stridhan, as such recovery is outside the bail court’s domain. The ruling came while granting anticipatory bail to an 80-year-old man accused in a matrimonial dispute involving multiple offences.
