Delhi HC: Muslim Personal Law cannot Shield Sex with Minor Wife from POCSO Case - (28 Sep 2026)

CRIMINAL

Delhi High Court held that a marriage recognised under Muslim personal law does not shield a man from prosecution for sexual intercourse with a wife below 18, ruling that personal law cannot override protections under the POCSO Act and BNS.
