Kerala High Court: Navy Court-Martial Proceedings Can Be Prosecuted by Investigating Officer - (23 Sep 2026)

DEFENCE

Kerala High Court held that a Navy officer who investigated a case may also prosecute it before a court-martial, as the Navy Regulations do not bar such appointment. It added that this alone does not violate the accused’s right to a fair trial under Article 21.
