Supreme Court: Courts Can Interfere When Tender Acceptance Violates NIT Conditions - (23 Sep 2026)

Supreme Court held that judicial deference to a tendering authority’s commercial wisdom does not extend to interpretations contrary to NIT conditions or patently arbitrary decisions. The case concerned a Rs. 16-crore contract for collecting vehicle user charges at Mandi premises.
