Allahabad HC: Hindu Marriage Requires Essential Ceremonies, Arya Samaj Certificate Not Enough - (22 Sep 2026)

Allahabad High Court held that an Arya Samaj marriage certificate alone does not prove a valid Hindu marriage unless essential ceremonies are performed. It made the observation while quashing the removal of an SSB officer accused of falsely declaring his marital status.
