Gujarat HC: Brothel Customer Not Liable for Operating Premises or Procuring Women - (22 Sep 2026)

CRIMINAL

Gujarat High Court held that a brothel customer cannot be booked for running a brothel or procuring women for prostitution under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act. It quashed a 2010 FIR against a man caught during a raid at a hotel allegedly used as a brothel.
