SC Urges Law Commission to Examine Law Governing Deposits Made in Courts - (21 Sep 2026)

Supreme Court urged the Law Commission to consider a uniform law governing court and tribunal deposits, including their administration, investment and release, while deciding a dispute over interest payable on an arbitral award deposit.
