Madras HC: Arrest, Remand Invalid if Accused not told Quantity of Contraband Seized - (21 Sep 2026)

NARCOTICS

Madras High Court held that an NDPS arrest may be vitiated if the accused is not informed of the quantity of contraband seized or the applicable provisions, as this can cause serious prejudice. It granted bail to a man allegedly found with 25 kg of ganja.
