Bombay HC Allows Cutting of 1,237 Mangroves for Connector Bridge in Mumbai’s Western Suburbs - (18 Sep 2026)

ENVIRONMENT

Bombay High Court permitted the BMC to cut 1,237 mangroves for construction of the Versova-Madh Island connector bridge, noting that the project would significantly reduce the travel distance between Mumbai’s western suburbs and Madh Island.
