SC: Bribe Given to Intermediary Alone Insufficient to Establish Public Servant's Guilt under PC Act - (17 Sep 2026)

CRIMINAL

Supreme Court held that merely proving money was exchanged between a complainant and an intermediary invoking a public servant’s name is insufficient to establish that the public servant accepted a bribe.
