Supreme Court: Army Must Prove Disability Was Unrelated to Service to Deny Pension - (16 Sep 2026)

DEFENCE

Supreme Court dismissed 271 Union appeals against disability pensions, holding that the Government must prove the disability was neither attributable to nor aggravated by military service, despite the 2008 Rules removing the presumption of fitness at entry.
