Punjab & Haryana HC: Bail Granted to Two More UGC NET Paper Leak Accused, Including Kingpin - (15 Sep 2026)

Punjab and Haryana High Court granted regular bail to two accused in the CSIR-UGC NET paper leak case, reiterating that bail is meant to secure an accused’s presence at trial, not to punish, and that seriousness of charges alone cannot justify continued detention.
