Supreme Court Finds Gaps in FSSAI’s Proposed Warning Labels for Foods High in Fat, Sugar and Salt - (11 Sep 2026)

Supreme Court flagged gaps in FSSAI’s plan for warning labels on packaged foods high in sugar, salt and fat. It sought a rollout timeline and questioned why the first phase would cover only foods high in at least two nutrients, instead of those high in any one.
