Uttarakhand HC: District Magistrate to Establish Public Helpline within 24 Hrs amid Water Pollution - (11 Sep 2026)

ENVIRONMENT

Uttarakhand High Court directed the Nainital District Magistrate to set up and publicise a helpline within 24 hours. It also ordered the Pollution Control Board to test water samples from affected villages and Nainital town and submit a report within a week.
