Delhi HC Mandates Biometric Aadhaar Verification for GST Registration Nationwide - (11 Sep 2026)

GOODS AND SERVICES TAX

Delhi High Court directed authorities to require biometric Aadhaar authentication before granting GST registration. The interim order came amid concerns over fraudulent registrations obtained using stolen or frozen PAN and Aadhaar details of unsuspecting citizens.
