MP High Court: Adult Woman Can Become Jain Saadhvi Despite Parents’ Opposition - (10 Sep 2026)

Madhya Pradesh High Court granted protection to a 20-year-old woman who chose to renounce worldly life and become a Jain Saadhvi, holding that as an adult citizen, she is free to practise her religion according to her own beliefs despite parental objection.
