Sikkim High Court: POCSO Case not Quashed on Settlement after Survivor Turns Major - (07 Sep 2026)

Sikkim High Court has held that POCSO proceedings cannot be quashed solely on the basis of a settlement between the accused and the survivor, even where the survivor has subsequently attained majority.
