SC: S.362 CrPC Cannot Limit HC’s Inherent Power to Recall Judgment Causing Miscarriage of Justice - (07 Sep 2026)

CRIMINAL

Supreme Court held that Section 362 CrPC does not prevent a High Court from recalling its judgment under Section 482 to prevent miscarriage of justice, faulting it for refusing relief to a convict found to be a juvenile on the date of the offence.
