P&H High Court: Re-Investigation Cannot Nullify Existing Acquittal Despite Breach of Stay Order - (03 Sep 2026)

CRIMINAL

Punjab and Haryana High Court held that an acquittal cannot be ignored merely because it was pronounced despite a stay order. Unless set aside by a competent court, re-investigation cannot be used to summon acquitted persons again under Section 300 CrPC.
