SC: Guilt cannot be Presumed Solely Due to Collusion Allegations against Investigating Officer - (03 Sep 2026)

CRIMINAL

Supreme Court observed that while a flawed investigation does not automatically benefit an accused, guilt cannot be presumed merely due to an uncooperative IO or allegations of collusion when the prosecution fails to produce reliable evidence proving guilt.
