Bombay High Court: Child Welfare Prevails as ‘Joint Parenting’ is Not Recognised in Indian Law - (02 Sep 2026)

Bombay High Court held that ‘joint parenting’ is not recognised under Indian child custody laws, where the child’s welfare is paramount, and quashed a Family Court order granting parents equal 50:50 visitation and vacation access.
