Supreme Court: Certiorari Can Quash a Tribunal Decision That is Grossly Perverse - (01 Sep 2026)

CONSTITUTION

Supreme Court held that High Courts exercising certiorari jurisdiction under Article 226 may interfere with a Tribunal’s order where its findings are unsupported by material or documentary evidence.
