Delhi High Court: Police Cannot Pick and Choose Among Accused Persons for Arrest - (01 Sep 2026)

CRIMINAL

Delhi High Court deprecated selective arrests, holding that police cannot pick and choose which accused to take into custody. It said the police must clearly state whether they intend to arrest an accused or not.
