Chhattisgarh HC: Maintenance for Autistic Child May Continue Beyond 18 Until Self-Sufficient - (26 Aug 2026)

Chhattisgarh High Court held that maintenance for a child with physical or mental disability does not automatically end at 18. The key test is whether the child, after attaining majority, is capable of earning a livelihood and maintaining himself.
