Rajya Sabha Passes Lokpal and Lokayuktas (Amendment) Bill, 2016 - (29 Jul 2016)

Rajya Sabha has passed Lokpal and Lokayuktas (Amendment) Bill, 2016, doing away with time limit for public servants to furnish details of their assets and liabilities, which as per original act was 31 July every year.
