Madras HC: No Place for Caste Discrimination in Temples, God Treats All Equally - (19 Aug 2026)

Madras HC, while examining claims of discriminatory treatment against non-Brahmin devotees at Kanchipuram’s Devaraja Swamy Temple, held that caste-based discrimination has no place in temples and religious practices cannot justify unequal treatment.
