Allahabad HC: Disagreement or Fair Criticism With Colleagues is Not Misconduct - (07 Aug 2026)

SERVICE

Allahabad HC ruled that service rules on workplace courtesy cannot treat every disagreement or legitimate criticism as misconduct. It held that discussing recruitment concerns in meeting does not amount to misconduct unless there is evidence of intent to harass, humiliate or undermine a colleague.
