Allahabad High Court Upholds Conviction, Says a Reliable Dying Declaration Alone Can Sustain Guilt - (04 Aug 2026)

CRIMINAL

Allahabad High Court has upheld the life sentence of two women convicted of setting a married woman ablaze, holding that a voluntary, truthful and properly recorded dying declaration made in a fit state of mind can, by itself, form the basis for conviction.
