Bombay HC Criticises ITAT for Delays in Pronouncing Orders Beyond 90-Day Limit - (04 Aug 2026)

DIRECT TAXATION

Bombay High Court criticised the ITAT for repeatedly delaying order pronouncements beyond the 90-day limit under Rule 34 of the Income Tax (Appellate Tribunal) Rules, 1963, and directed all benches to strictly comply with the prescribed deadline.
