SC Grants Bail to Two UAPA Accused, Citing 12-Year Incarceration and Violation of Article 21 - (30 Jul 2026)

Supreme Court granted bail to two UAPA accused, holding that their nearly 12-year incarceration without any likelihood of an early conclusion of the trial violated their fundamental right to personal liberty under Article 21 of the Constitution.
