Madras High Court Directs State and Judiciary to Expedite Rape and POCSO Trials - (30 Jul 2026)

Madras High Court directed the State Government and judiciary to accelerate the investigation and trial of rape and POCSO cases, stressing strict adherence to the timelines prescribed under Section 346 BNSS and Section 35 of the POCSO Act.
