P&H High Court Issues Directions on LADC Scheme After Reviewing Lawyers' Objections - (29 Jul 2026)

P&H HC issued seven guidelines for Judicial Officers & District Legal Services Authority Secretaries to strengthen transparency & effective functioning of the Legal Aid Defence Counsel System. Directions were issued after concerns were raised regarding alleged misuse of the scheme in pending PIL.
