Bombay HC: Child of Single Mother Can’t be Denied RTE Quota over Deceased Father's Caste Certificate - (24 Jul 2026)

Bombay High Court held that a child seeking admission under the RTE Act cannot be denied quota benefits for failing to produce the caste certificate of a deceased father. The Court ruled that the mother's caste certificate is sufficient in such cases.
