Kerala High Court Orders DGP to Set Up Special Squads Across Districts for Hit-and-Run Cases - (23 Jul 2026)

Kerala HC ordered the State Police Chief to establish special squads in every district to investigate hit-and-run cases. Observing that delayed tracing of offenders often stalls investigations, it directed coordinated action by police, cyber units, and technology to locate absconding vehicles.
