Delhi High Court: Sonam Wangchuk's Transfer to Chosen Hospital Will Safeguard Fundamental Rights - (22 Jul 2026)

Delhi HC directed that activist Sonam Wangchuk be shifted to Medanta Hospital, observing that the transfer would protect his fundamental rights. It noted a consensus among government and private doctors that continuous medical supervision was necessary due to his ongoing hunger strike.
