Allahabad HC: Working Mother with Child Custody Cannot Shift Entire Maintenance Liability to Father - (17 Jul 2026)

Allahabad High Court has held that a working mother who secures custody of her minor child by asserting her financial ability cannot place the entire burden of the child's maintenance solely on the father. It accordingly dismissed a revision plea challenging a Family Court's maintenance order.
