Supreme Court: Property in Sale Deed Cannot Be Altered by Rectification Without Transferor's Consent - (16 Jul 2026)

Supreme Court held that a rectification deed cannot alter the identity of a property without the original seller's consent. It also ruled that courts cannot decide cases on grounds or arguments that were never pleaded or advanced by the parties.
