Madras HC: Travel Costs Must be Reimbursed to Independent Special Public Prosecutors - (15 Jul 2026)

CIVIL

Madras High Court held that an independent advocate appointed as a Special Public Prosecutor has the right to claim travel expenses from the State. It said the advocate should not have to bear official travel costs from the professional fee paid for conducting the prosecution.
