SC: Recovery of a Weapon Alone is Insufficient to Prove Guilt Without Conscious Possession - (15 Jul 2026)

CRIMINAL

Supreme Court held that mere recovery of a weapon from a person's house is insufficient to establish guilt under the Arms Act unless the prosecution proves the accused had conscious possession and dominion over the weapon.
