Bombay High Court: Strangers May be Impleaded in Co-Operative Society Disputes if Necessary - (13 Jul 2026)

TRUSTS AND SOCIETIES

Bombay High Court held that Co-operative Courts may implead persons who are not parties under the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act if their presence is necessary for effective adjudication. However, such power cannot be used to expand the dispute or the court's jurisdiction.
