SC: Voluminous Documents are No Excuse For Their Delayed Production under Commercial Courts Act - (10 Jul 2026)

SC ruled that the sheer quantity of documents cannot, by itself; justify filing evidence after the prescribed timeline under the Commercial Courts Act, 2015. The Court clarified that parties seeking to submit records beyond the deadline must establish valid and sufficient reasons for the delay.
