NHRC Awards Compensation of Rs 50,000 over Delay in Registration of FIR - (27 Jul 2016)

National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has awarded a compensation of Rs 50,000 to a 25-year-old woman from Ghaziabad owing to a delay of three months in the registration of an FIR that she had filed in 2012.
