Madras HC: Advocates Can't Seek Out-of-Turn Case Listing Through Writ Petitions - (08 Jul 2026)

Madras High Court held that advocates cannot file writ petitions seeking out-of-turn listing of their cases. The court observed that allowing such pleas would flood courts with litigation and disrupt the administration of justice.
