Supreme Court: Citing AI-Generated Fake Precedents Amounts to Advocate Misconduct - (03 Jul 2026)

Supreme Court called for zero tolerance of AI-generated fake or hallucinated judicial precedents, holding that advocates must verify citations and judges must not rely on non-existent cases. It ruled that any decision based on such fake precedents is legally void.
