Bombay HC Rules on Whether Arrest is Illegal if Co-Accused Charge Sheet is Not Supplied Earlier - (01 Jul 2026)

CRIMINAL

Bombay High Court held that arrest after filing of a chargesheet against co-accused is not illegal merely because a copy was not supplied to the arrested person, clarifying that requirements for furnishing grounds of arrest and chargesheet copy are separate and operate differently.
