Bihar Tender Scam: Patna High Court Bars Media From Calling Accused 'Scamster' Before Trial - (29 Jun 2026)

Patna High Court has restrained print, electronic, digital and social media from portraying Bihar contractor Rishu Shree as guilty in the alleged tender scam, holding that while factual reporting is permissible, labeling an accused before trial undermines the right to a fair trial.
