Supreme Court: Long Gap Without Similar Criminal Conduct May Mitigate Sentence - (24 Jun 2026)

CRIMINAL

Supreme Court reduced a convict’s sentence of five years’ rigorous imprisonment for each of four offences, observing that the record contained no evidence of involvement in any similar criminal activity during the long period that elapsed after the offences.
