SC Took Suo Motu Action and Directed Odisha to Aid a Visually Impaired Man and His Mother - (17 Jun 2026)

CIVIL

Supreme Court directed the Odisha government to provide all social security benefits and basic amenities to a visually impaired man, Japa Bhue, and his 80-year-old mother, Radhika Bhue, who were reported to be living in extreme poverty.
