Ker HC: Complainant Can Invoke Presumptions After Proving Transaction, Cheque Execution Convincingly - (12 Jun 2026)

Kerala High Court has held that in cheque dishonour cases under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, statutory presumptions in favour of the complainant arise only after they first prove the underlying transaction and execution of the cheque with clear and competent evidence.
